ADRENALINE MOB To Open For AVENGED SEVENFOLD

June 21, 2013

ADRENALINE MOB will be the opening act for AVENGED SEVENFOLD on July 16 at La Crosse Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Also on the bill is FIGHT OR FLIGHT, the new band featuring DISTURBED guitarist Dan Donegan and drummer Mike Wengren.

Says ADRENALINE MOB: "After coming off an amazing run in South America with HALESTORM, we have, unfortunately, parted ways with drummer Mike Portnoy due to scheduling conflicts, as you all know.

"We had an incredible run with Mike and made two great albums together, as well as many great shows and tours since we've launched ADRENALINE MOB. It was a pleasure to share the stage with such a great talent, but as a band, we need to be able to move forward and work as hard as we can to take ADRENALINE MOB to the next level. We wish Mike all the best in everything he does!

'As far as filling the drum position... we will not be announcing a permanent replacement just yet. We are currently seeking out the right person to fill the spot at this time and will use a fill-in for the AVENGED SEVENFOLD show on July 16.

"We'd also like to announce that Mike Orlando [guitar] and Russell Allen [vocals] have been hard at work writing the next ADRENALINE MOB album and will enter the studio late summer, early fall to begin tracking the new release!

"Russell, Mike and John [Moyer, bass] would like to send out a huge special thanx to all the amazing ADRENALINE MOB fans worldwide for their incredible support at this time! We're extremely excited to unveil the next phase of ADRENALINE MOB real soon!!"

Portnoy played on AVENGED SEVENFOLD's latest album, "Nightmare", following the death of that band's drummer, Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, and toured with them for the entire second half of 2010.
